Training, Influences and Mentors

David has been a photographer for 30 years. He trained through a variety of workshops in Carmel California. He received extensive commercial training at Studio B in San Diego, CA.







David's mentors have been; John Sexton, Richard Misrack, Morley Bear, Huntington Witheral,Judy Dater,Jay Dusard,Chris Rainer, Alan Parks,Henry Gilpin, Ray McSwavey, Brett Weston, John Sarakowski,Tom Millea,Jerry Ulseman, Ruth Bernard, and Doug Menuez.







He is most powerfully influenced by the work of Edward Weston and Wynn Bullock.
